I went in to service my car. The individuals that worked there were very professional and knew what they were talking about. The atmosphere was very nice and the level of customer service was unbelievably good. If you are looking for anything to do with bmw and appreciate good customer service, definitely visit Barons BMW Cambridge.
Whenever I call to book a service I never get through to Barons Cambridge service. The call ends up being answered by another branch of Barons who, when I ask to have a lift home tell me that is no longer possible at Barons Cambridge (but it is, and Barons Cambridge are happy to do this). Then I end up talking to someone who doesn't really understand cars: describing technical issues is therefore somewhat exasperating. Look Barons Cambridge: don't have people answering for the service department who are not technical and who don't understand cars.Finally, whenever I arrive with my car at Barons Cambridge for service there is never anywhere to park. All the bays are jammed full of cars, I presume cars belonging to the dealership. There are therefore cars parked everywhere else possible making it difficult to even drive round with a 5 Series looking for somewhere to park. This is very frustrating for the customer. The management need to sort this out. If they have too many stock cars on site then move some of them elsewhere. There should be enough empty bays for the number of cars due in for service at any given time. It is just not good enough at the moment.
I waited over a month for a service appointment. The staff provided misleading information and tried to charge an additional 100. Very poor at replying to messages, calling back and answering their phones. I contacted BMW Specialist Cars in Stevenage who saw me the very next day and charged the correct amount. Will never go to Barons again.
Service was carried out on time and returned washed and cleaned. Car felt like new again thanks to the vehicle technician. Would not take my car anywhere else for servicing. If you own a BMW take it to the people who know.
Have used this garage a few times now, and have never had any problems or issues with them. Always very helpful service and everything is given to you plain and straightforward. I even got a part replaced with out any labour charges. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys.Thanks
